Knee Boarding

Knee boarding at Skylake Yosemite Camp is one of the easiest ways for campers to get up behind a boat — and every camper gets the chance at least once every two-week session on warm-water Bass Lake, with our boat drivers and waterfront staff running each session.

Because riders kneel low on the board, knee boarding is a friendly first step into towed water sports: campers who have never tried it are often up and grinning on their first pull. It's offered along with waterskiing and wakeboarding, so campers can progress from kneeling to standing at their own pace over a session.

For pure, no-skill-needed fun, campers also get out on the lake on the Banana Boat about twice each week — a camp-wide favorite.

Skylake's five-mile lake and private docks mean short lines and lots of boat time compared to camps that bus out to public water. See the full lineup of water activities, or check dates and fees for session lengths.
