Skylake Yosemite Camp prides itself on hiring
skilled college aged students who are interested in helping
provide magical summers for our campers. We have a strong
tradition and our staff are what help keep this tradition alive.
Being a summer camp counselor can quite possibly
be the most rewarding job while also the hardest job you will
ever have. The amount of responsibility that is placed on you is
of the highest magnitude. We are the surrogate parents to
children who come to us for care first and foremost while also
to experience one of the most memorable summers of their lives.
Our history of repeat campers is proof that we are providing an
exceptional experience which is always what we strive to obtain.

We are looking for counselors with great
attitudes and leadership qualities as well as those with focused
skills in any combination of the following areas:
Horseback Riding. Ropes Course and Climbing Wall. Archery.
Tennis. Outdoor Cooking. Sports.
Guitar. Volleyball. Handicrafts (Arts & Crafts). Ceramics.
Mountain Biking. Video/Movie Production. Yearbook/Photography.
Ski Boat Driver/Instructor. Swimming. Paddle Boards. Canoeing.
Kayaking. Backpacking/Day Trips (must be 21).
Additional Camp Roles:
• Administrative/Senior Staff roles include:
Girls Head Counselor, Boys Head Counselor, PM Director, CILT
Trainer, Waterfront Director, Activities Director, Trips
Coordinator, and Head Lifeguard.
• We are hiring fun loving Nurses (R.N.) to
staff our Camp Infirmary. Camp Nurse positions are 2 week or 4
week commitments.
• We are hiring Kitchen Assistants and
Cooks interesting in providing 800+ meals a day in a fast paced
and fun working camp kitchen.
